Architecture
I was living in two new built houses so far, and some old buildings too. All of them flats, never a house. Most of them have balcony or terrace. There exist pollen grids for installing. They are ugly, never fit, look absolutely terrible from inside as from outside and if once installed can’t be removed that quick. One is forced to look through this. But does not really see anymore.

Instead of installing electronic blinds, which can easily be handled manually (I never got the idea of using electricity for this), electric pollen nets should be installed (or not electronically, but operated from the inside). Like this we would be able to close them before opening the window and open again when it’s closed. Also they should visually fit to the facade of the house. In complementary or similar colors, or with pattern, similar to church windows, or arabic grid-windows. The light would break beautifully in interesting colors or shadows and spend nice light inside the house.

They would also spend shadow from the increasing sun, which many people do not like. And of course, they offer protection against the increasing number of contagious mosquitoes.
