Tahini
There are plenty of different producers available in the stores and all should be tested. Because every tahini tastes different. There is the fine ground one, the roasted one, the steamed, the husked one, the salted one. And there can differences in taste be observed – depending on the various producers. Look for organic, it tastes better. For me tahini is the hidden land of milk and honey – in the vegan sense.

Tahini is a great ingredient, whenever you need something creamy in your kitchen. Mix it with water and it turns into a dip or a sauce.

Tahini is my sweet treat for in-between meals. Mixed with maple sirup, it can be licked straight from the spoon. Very satisfying – indeed.

It is a great source of iron and other minerals, proteins, etc. very good for women.
