Ice Tea.


Ingredients for 1 serving

2 tbsp
Rooibos tea (loose)

little
Rock salt

1–½ tsp
Tamarind paste

optional
Maple sirup

⅓ tsp
Rose water

  1. Bring rooibos tea, rock salt and tamarind with 1 liter of water to a boil. As soon as it is boiling, turn off the heat and let it cool down.

  2. When ready, pour everything through a fine mesh sieve into a carafe. Season with rose water and maple sirup according to taste. You can also add more water if it is too concentrated.

A caffeine free drink, for times when pure water gets boring, or for getting electrolytes during hot summer days.
I didn't had a idea for decoration, since lemon, herbal leaves or a cinnamon stick might cause some troubles. Any thoughts?
