Fructose
intolerance.

Texts / Thoughts.

I was diagnosed with a fructose intolerance. There is a problem with the sugars in fruits and it's digestion. I observed that it makes me look fat and that my body does water retention if consuming inadequate amount of fructose.
I also notice that my skin becomes very, very dry, so I basically avoid all fruits, especially uncooked ones. My eczema went for the better.
My teeth hurt from the acidity of fruits – I can’t even brush them after eating fruits.

In summer I treat myself with some berries when strolling through gardens. In winter occasionally a fruit pie. Thats it.

Sugars
I get best results with maple sirup and coconut blossom sugar. All others I do not eat.
I don't want to restrain from eating sweet foods! I usually never eat more than 5–10 teaspoons of it a day.

I’m a little bit irritated that I couldn’t find an adequate local sugar yet. Maybe there is some potential for invention?

Tipp
There are some sugars, that are recommended by nutritionists for fructose intolerance, such as rice sirup (or other grain sugars). If you have problems with histamine, or are following a sattvic diet, you should be aware that such sugars are fermented. But maybe you avoid all sugars then anyway.
